to use the river as a resource in almost every way.
Besides the irrigation benefits, you find women
doing laundry and collecting palm fronds.
From time immemorial, communities have thrived
in the river valley. This old Ksour is just one
of the remnants of a sultans palace and grounds
which guarded over the ziz with vigilance.
